Annie Allen

 Hi, I’m Annie Allen, Administration Assistant with Inspired Lives Support Coordination.

My journey in the care sector began in 2017 in aged care, where I discovered a passion for providing compassionate, person-centred support and building meaningful relationships with the people I worked alongside. I loved hearing people’s stories, understanding their experiences, and supporting them with dignity and professionalism. In 2019, I transitioned into the disability sector and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the privilege of walking alongside participants and families as they navigate their unique journeys.

In late 2020, I had the opportunity to support a participant in establishing their Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangements from the ground up. Through this experience, I became increasingly involved in coordinating supports and assisting with NDIS reviews, which sparked a strong interest in the broader systems that help participants achieve meaningful outcomes. Since then, I have gained experience across direct support, plan management, incident management, and disability administration, developing a strong understanding of the NDIS, funding frameworks, stakeholder collaboration, and the importance of quality systems and communication.

With almost a decade of experience across aged care and disability, and a Certificate III in Individual Support, I value building genuine relationships and supporting people in ways that are practical, responsive, and centred around their individual goals and needs.

At Inspired Lives Support Coordination, I support our coordination team behind the scenes to help ensure participants, families, and service providers experience responsive communication, strong systems, and a relationship-based approach. I believe quality support extends beyond services alone and is built on trust, compassion, collaboration, and genuine human connection.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, cooking, listening to music, and embracing the joys and chaos of family life. I feel privileged to work in a sector that allows me to contribute to meaningful outcomes and remain deeply committed to supporting people with compassion, integrity, and respect.
